The tracker research, now in its eighth year confirms that Chinese companies continue to make a significant contribution to the UK economy. Haier UK are one of the companies that are leading the way in terms of their speed of growth in the consumer retail sector. Haier have continued to build on their core values of delivering, premium, innovative and modern products. This news follows quickly on the back of the newly opened state-of-the-art brand activation centre that has been created at its UK headquarter in Warrington. The 672 square metre facility comprises several zones, providing separate showroom areas for each brand, a chef’s theatre for cooking demonstrations, a meeting centre including an auditorium, four meeting rooms and breakout spaces.

The year ahead holds much hope for ongoing trade and collaboration between UK and China and specifically the future developments of technology and IOT. This presents a great opportunity for Chinese businesses based in the UK, and specifically Haier, for their future growth plans across major appliances. Whether it’s a spacious four door cube fridge freezer or quietly efficient, large capacity washing machines or connected home wine coolers, Haier are constantly looking to create innovative technology experiences that listen to consumers changing needs and adapt to them, while simultaneously harnessing superior design and style conscious products for the home.

Jim McEwan, Chief Commercial Officer at Haier UK, commented: “These are very exciting times for Haier UK with many new products coming to the market in 2021 and beyond. And as recently honoured as the No.1 Global Major Appliance Brand in the world for the 12th consecutive year in a row, our aim is to continue to develop premium and cutting-edge connected technology that delivers tailor made product solutions for the home, products that will stand out in the market for years to come.”
