Haier has appointed Nisha Katona MBE as its brand ambassador. It will see the popular TV chef and restauranteur promote the Chinese brand’s award-winning appliances.
This partnership will see the food expert and author promote Haier’s products across its portfolio of connected ovens, hobs, hoods refrigeration, and wine banks.
Ms Katona will front campaigns across PR, advertising, competitions and events. She will also feature in social media imagery and video content that will be created for these campaigns.
Ms Katona said: “My mission is to enrich lives. I’m looking forward to continuing to do this by partnering with Haier, such a well-known and respected leader in its field. Helping people discover their capabilities using Haier’s products is something I’m really looking forward to doing.”
Jim McEwan, chief commercial officer at Haier UK & Ireland, added: “This is the fusion of two strong leaders in their respective fields. We are proud to begin this relationship with Nisha who will bring our appliances to life and showcase them in the passionate way that she brings to everything she does.”
