Home appliance manufacturer Gorenje UK has appointed Tim Taylor as its regional sales manager for the North of England.
Tim has worked in the appliance sector for 26 years and began his sales career in a role with PWS. He has since worked for Waterline as the North of England area sales manager and joins Gorenje from a similar role with BCG.
National sales manager at Gorenje UK Stuart Benson said the appointment sends a clear signal to retailers that the firm is actively seeking to speak to key decision makers to explore stock partnerships.
He commented: “Tim has the energy, enthusiasm, contact base and experience necessary to help us promote Gorenje to retailers in the North of England, so we are thrilled to have him on board.”
Gorenje is launching a retailer exclusive range called Gorenje+ which will be available from July 2014. The line has been created to support high street retailers by guaranteeing them in-store exclusivity.
Tim said: “Gorenje is a dynamic and ambitious company that has an incredible amount to shout about. With a superb product range and an exciting pipeline of new product releases, the role represents a huge opportunity to me both personally and professionally.
