gorenjeKitchen appliance manufacturer Gorenje is encouraging consumers to share their favourite life hacks for the chance to win a new IonAir fridge freezer.

The social media competition will form part of the brand’s Discover campaign which was launched at the start of 2014.

Gorenje UK national sales manager Stuart Benson said: “We are always trying to simplify appliances and make life easier for our customers. This month we are focusing on simplicity and offering a stylish IonAir fridge freezer to the person who suggests our favourite ‘life hack’.”

The A++ rated Superior line model, which launched in April, uses negatively charged ions designed to destroy up to 95% of bacteria, mould, and odours, and comes with a range of technology aimed to optimise food preservation. The IonAir also comes with holiday mode, Nofrost technology and a Multiflow 360 ventilation system.

Stuart continued: “These appliances come complete with intelligent AdaptCool advanced sensor technology which keeps track of user habits for seven days and adjusts the temperature when the fridge is more frequently opened. This greatly improves efficiency and adapts to each and every household, leading to energy consumption savings of up to 50 per cent.”

He added: “So, can you impress us with your simple solutions for everyday problems? Have you turned a humble household item into an ingenious contraption that you can’t live without? If so, we want to hear from you!”

To be in with a chance of winning, follow @GorenjeUK on Twitter or like it on Facebook and send your #LifeHacks before July 31 2014.
