Home appliance manufacturer Gorenje has announced that its RK6193 fridge-freezer has won a ‘Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Award for Innovation in Sustainability’.
The panel awarded the appliance manufacturer at the ceremony on November 12 at Supernova, a pop-up venue at Embankment Gardens in London.
Gorenje UK national sales manager Stuart Benson commented: “We have invested heavily in the development of our refrigeration products this year. The RK6193 fridge-freezer is a great example of our team’s hard work and commitment to creating innovative new appliances. The model features our advanced IonAir technology that uses negatively charged ions to purify the air in the fridge which destroys up to 95% of all the bacteria, mould and odours, dramatically enhancing food preservation.”
The A+++ rated Superior line fridge freezer includes Gorenje’s AdaptCool advance sensor technology to track the user’s habits for seven days and adjust the temperature accordingly, a CrispZone compartment to preserve and lock in freshness and Multiflow 360 technology which ensures the constant insertion of cool air inside the refrigerator, as well as an equal temperature on each shelf, the manufacturer says.
Stuart added: “We had a fantastic day celebrating at the awards ceremony and we are so pleased to have received this recognition. We are very proud of all the products we offer at Gorenje, and as a company it is our priority to keep developing and growing our product portfolio. This year alone we have launched three new ranges; Classico, Simplicity and Gorenje+.”
