Glen Dimplex Home Appliances (GDHA) has announced the appointment of Tristan Edwards (pictured) as its new business development and OEM sales manager.
Tristan joins GDHA from Coolectric, the UK importer for German refrigeration brand Liebherr, where he spent more than four years, and he previously gained industry experience at Turkish OEM manufacturer Vestel. At GDHA he will be responsible for the continued development of GDHA’s OEM business and for exploring additional opportunities with new customers for all the business’s brands.
Tristan will report to sales and marketing director David Garden, and will work with current OEM customers.
David Garden said: “This is a key area for us to expand our business into new customers within the distribution and OEM channels, as well as trade merchants and larger independents. As well as managing current OEM clients, Tristan’s role will incorporate identifying, evaluating and developing new, incremental business in these areas and we are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
