UK hi fi brand Fyne Audio has announced the successful launch of two complete series of loudspeakers to the European market at Munich, securing distributor contracts in several key Euro-zone territories.
Taking three rooms at the HiFiDeluxe Show at the Marriott Hotel, the British brand demonstrated the budget F300 series, mid-market F500 series with IsoFlare driver and the F1-10, part of the soon to be launched premium F-series range.
With F300 and F500 models already available in UK and some Asian territories, the show provided a platform to secure distributor contracts across remaining European countries not already tied up. The HiFiDeluxe Show, running at the same time as the Munich High-End Show and with shuttle buses running between the two, saw large numbers of visitors, particularly during the evenings after the High-End had closed its doors.
Fyne Audio managing director Andrzej Sosna commented: “As our first major HiFi show outside of the UK, the HiFiDeluxe event proved very successful indeed. With our presence in the UK and Asia already making waves in the loudspeaker market, we had over 20 meetings with potential European distributors throughout the event. That result is that Fyne Audio will launch in almost all key Euro-zone countries in time for the 2018 sales season.”
Launched by a consortium of ex-Tannoy senior management, the Fyne Audio team represents over 200 years combined experience designing, manufacturing and selling loudspeakers. The company’s head office in Glasgow is the home to its R&D facility and large scale investment is gearing the site up for production of the forthcoming, UK-built, F-Series range.
Fyne Audio is currently developing a select dealership across the UK.
