Sony has just extended its Vaio range of notebooks by introducing the E series, the unique feature of which is its ease of use, and the W Eco series that is designed to be kinder to the environment.
The E Series has a number of distinctive features, such as a full size numeric keypad, a new 2010 Intel Core processor, which with 4GB high speed memory will make computing tasks fast and easy. It also features a Quick Web Access button taking the user to the web within seconds, a dedicated ASSIST button giving access to Vaio care and helping with troubleshooting. There is also one-button access to Media Gallery that helps users to explore and arrange their music, photo and video collection.
Meanwhile the mini notebooks in the W Eco Series are light (weighing only 1.3kg) and small and portable for on-the-go computing. They have been designed to be environmentally friendly – starting from manufacturing through to the use of recycled materials. Their power consumption is reduced by the IntelAtom processor and Vaio display with LED backlit. Moreover 80%of all plastic parts are made from recycled materials. The notebooks in the W Eco Series come with their carry bags, the outer fabric of which is manufactured out of 100% recycled PET bottles. The W Eco series is available directly from the manufacturer.
