The Azur Ionic range of irons from Philips boasts ionic technology, which offers finer steam for deeper cleaning.
According to the maker, the new range is aimed at those that require a high-standard performance from their iron, but are frustrated at not being able to achieve this.
Comprising four models, the range uses an ionisation process, whereby the water particles are charged, so the positive and negative particles repel against each other and split, producing a more dense steam cloud, compared to non-ionic models. This steam cloud reaches deeper into fabrics to remove even the most stubborn creases, even on delicate fabrics.
