For Electrolux, 2007 was a critical year with our biggest launch ever in the UK across all our MDA product categories – that of the Electrolux Global Design range at Wembley Stadium in April. This was followed by a brand awareness campaign to drive the re-launch of Electrolux as the thoughtful innovator, the ‘Thinking of You’ brand, using key products such as ‘Iron Aid’ and ‘Brita’.
2008 will continue to be a tough and somewhat volatile MDA marketplace, though Electrolux is confident that its brands’ strengths will continue to grow and will be well placed to maximise opportunities across all product categories. Electrolux will also continue to invest in further developing the Electrolux brand relationship with consumers, while continuing to drive the other key brands in the Electrolux Group, AEG and Zanussi.
