The new cleaner from Dyson, Digital Slim, was launched to accommodate the cleaning habits of the increasingly busy people who are cleaning for shorter periods but more frequently.
For them Dyson has developed Digital Slim – a lightweight cordless vacuum cleaner – for nimble, high performance cleaning. Its key benefit is that the weight (from the motor and battery) is in the hand rather than on the floor, meaning that with a flick of the wrist the user can switch from cleaning floors to cleaning ceilings or curtains.
A lightweight aluminium wand reaches from floor to ceiling and can be detached for compact spaces like a car. Weighing just 2.3 kg, the DC44 has a balanced weight distribution for high, low, awkward and in-between spaces.
Digital Slim uses patented Root Cyclone technology and the Dyson digital motor – a small, lightweight, high density motor that, according to the manufacturer, is up to three times faster than conventional motors. New battery technology delivers a constant 20 minute run time with no drop in performance. For stubborn dirt, a button can trigger 8 minutes of boost suction.
