NTP has announced that it will be distributing the Primo 401 by Doro to independent consumer electronics retailers across the UK. The entry-level mobile handset comes to market with a suggested retail price of £40.
Doro specialises in products for elderly consumers, or those with sight- or hearing-impairments, focusing on ease of use and simplicity.
The Primo 401 by Doro offers the user a calendar, calculator, alarm clock, Bluetooth connectivity and FM radio, along with three direct-dial memory keys. It is intended as an affordable option for people who want an easy-to-use mobile phone with some additional core functions.
Doro UK and Ireland managing director Chris Millington commented: “This device is a simple and reliable choice for consumers who mainly want their mobile for talk and text, but with some additional practical features. The price point is set to make this a widely accessible option to people who just do not want the cost of investing in a high device. Doro UK has an ongoing relationship with the team at NTP and we are pleased to be expanding that channel of our business – to bring more products to market, at varying price points.”
