The newly aligned CEDIA Home Technology Professional Awards program has seen an uptick in member participation around the globe, the organisation has announced.
90 home technology professional companies spanning 18 counties have submitted 158 projects for consideration. Furthermore, over 30 companies are first time entrants in the awards program.
CEDIA chairman Dennis Erskine commented: “Our dedicated team of CEDIA staff and volunteers have worked diligently to align the awards program and to make it easier for members to enter their projects. The result has been wonderfully successful. I’m particularly proud that we have so many countries represented in the awards program this year, we truly are a global organisation and seeing projects from around the world shows just what kind of footprint CEDIA members have.”
CEDIA member engagement manager Jenny Scott added: “It is encouraging to see so many companies enter projects for the first time – we know that our members do incredible work and it’s exciting to see the stunning and creative solutions from both new and long-time members.”
Judging for the Home Technology Professional Awards will begin this month with two panels assessing the technical excellence of each project.
