Appliance specialist Caple has appointed Jo Underhay to provide comprehensive appliance training at a national level. Jo is joining forces with Caple’s sales team to identify training needs and create bespoke training packages for retailers as required.
Jo says: “I am delighted to be able to bring my experience and in-depth knowledge of appliances and appliance training plus my passion for all things built-in to this new position. I feel very excited about this brand new role and look forward to working with the retailers – buying a new kitchen is very emotive and I look forward to transferring my expertise and enthusiasm for the brand to the retailer who will in turn pass this on to the consumer.

This new role will involve Jo visiting retailers at their own showrooms when requested by their business development manager, where she will help them increase their brand awareness and expert knowledge on all the functions and programmes on Caple’s appliances, which they can then demonstrate to customers.
A Caple Experience training programme is also currently underway where the retailer will visit the Caple head office showroom. Jo explains: “This day will enable you to cook and get to grips with the easy functionality of Caple appliances so you have the confidence to sell the brand in the knowledge that your customers will be happy with the end result.”
