Domestic appliance manufacturer Candy has provided its Candy FVP729X built-in oven for Channel 4’s hit soap Hollyoaks.
The oven made its big debut on the show on Monday 12th May in an episode where the McQueen family received the stainless steel Candy oven as a gift after their old one breaks.
Candy’s Built-in Division managing director Maurizio Severgnini comments: “We are thrilled to have supplied our FVP729X oven for such a popular TV programme. Combining reliability with affordability, the model represents a great choice for modern households.”
He adds: “The model also features a demo mode which will be perfect for filming purposes as the oven will look like it’s in use during shoots. Likewise, this is a useful tool for retailers when demonstrating the FVP729X model’s functionality.”
The FVP729X model is a multi-function appliance with an LED electronic programmer. The safety shelf system features grooves allowing shelves to slide more easily and stop securely to help prevent accidents.
The Candy model also features 14 U-SEE LED lights on the oven perimeter, which illuminates the cavity and has an A energy efficiency rating.
