The Hong Kong Trade Development Council has appointed industry journalist Simon King to lead a UK buying mission to next Spring’s Hong Kong Electronics Fair.
The Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition), organised by the HKTDC, runs concurrently with the International ICT Expo, and will be held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 13 to 16 2016.
HKTDC acting executive director Benjamin Chau said: “The annual Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) gathers all sorts of electronic gadgets for global suppliers and buyers to facilitate trade discussions.
“With two events taking place at the same time under the same roof, it is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to explore new possibilities for crossover business and extend their networks to new areas.”
Simon King said: “There are a number of travelling incentives available for both new and previous buyers to the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition).
“Once in Hong Kong, buyers will be given a guided tour of the fair; receive a VIP Card for free access to the exclusive VIP Lounge and be invited to official functions and special events.”
Buyers will also be able to benefit from a complimentary business matching service, as well as a benefit coupons booklet, which offers shopping and dinning discount coupons to be used in Hong Kong, the organisers say.
Another key feature area of the Hong Kong Electronics Fair will be the Small Orders Zone, which is a platform for buyers to source in smaller lots. Products at the Zone will be available in the minimum order quantities ranging from five to 1,000 pieces.
If buyers wish to register their interest in attending the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) or find out more about the buyer incentives available, they can contact Simon King at simonkingmedia@live.co.uk or on 01443 810721.
