Home entertainment installation industry trade association The Confederation of Aerial Industries Ltd (CAI) has unveiled a major new initiative with the viewer and listener in mind.
The CAI has worked as a reference point for broadcasters, government and the construction trades when advice is needed on signal reception and network distribution around the home or business for 38 years, but the group is expanding its outreach to consumers. With online recommendation sites becoming a major force in providing consumers with a local service, the CAI has developed a simple and concise website aimed purely at the customer looking for a reputable and competent signal reception service.
Whether a consumer needs an aerial for the lounge with Freeview TV or an integrated reception network system for an apartment block, a single outlet for TV or multi-outlets for TV, radio, satellite, telephony and broadband, www.getmeviewing.org.uk will provide clear links to the right person for the required work, the CAI says.
Launching on Thursday December 8, the site will feature the categories of work most householders seek then, via a postcode search, direct the viewer or listener to the nearest CAI members who can handle the work. There will also be an FAQ (frequently asked questions) page on TV, radio and media delivery as well as the CAI’s contact details should a customer wish to talk directly to someone for advice.
