BSH, the market-leading manufacturer of Bosch, NEFF, Siemens and Gaggenau home appliances, has been officially recognised as a Top Employer for 2021 by the Top Employers Institute. This is the sixth consecutive year BSH has secured Top Employer status.

Top Employers are organisations of the highest calibre that have worked hard to create and implement their people strategies. Through strategic and thoughtful workplace programmes, they have created an environment that empowers and develops employees.

The certification recognises employers that have dedicated themselves to providing the very best working environment for employees through progressive ‘people-first’ HR practices. Each company awarded Top Employer status goes through a rigorous analysis of its human resources management and employee conditions. The Best Practice Survey companies take part in encompasses over 100 questions covering a range of topics including; learning and development, career and succession management, and talent strategy and acquisition. The Top Employers Institute then evaluates the implementation of these practices and reviews how they are supported through strategy, ownership, practices, management and technology.

Established more than 29 years ago, The Top Employers Institute has certified and recognised more than 1600 Top Employers in 119 countries across five continents. Gunjan Srivastava (above left), CEO, BSH Home Appliances Ltd, added: “We are delighted to be one of a select number of UK organisations to be rated as a Top Employer. To be recognised for the sixth year running after a challenging year in the industry, is something we are extremely proud of. In 2020 we became the first company in our industry to hold this title for five consecutive years and we
are so pleased to carry this over for another year.

“We continue to put a key focus on the development of employees here at BSH and to have this work recognised by the Top Employers Institute is testament to the hard work of everyone at the company.”
