Britannia website earns award shortlisting

britaniaPremium kitchen appliance specialist Britannia Living has announced that its new website has been shortlisted in the Tasty Website category of the Big Chip Awards 2014.

The new site incorporates an entirely bespoke mobile version, meaning that customers can access product information on the go.

Britannia’s website is one of six shortlisted for the category in the digital industry awards. Voting is open until 9.45pm on 3 July when the winner will be announced during the awards ceremony.

Britannia marketing manager Michael Haigh comments: “We’re really proud that the new site has been shortlisted for this award as we feel the platform showcases our products superbly, greatly simplifies the user experience and offers an online experience befitting a premium kitchen brand.”

He adds: “Developing a mobile responsive website was key for us, as the way people view our products is evolving. Consumers are increasingly doing product research and making buying decisions on the go, so it’s vital that we are demonstrating that Britannia is an accessible and forward-thinking brand.”
