FROM floorcare to irons, Bosch has introduced new technological solutions and design ideas to its 2007 range of small appliances.
The floorcare line features three bagged and three bagless models which cater for a variety of customer needs.
The BX3 Advanced bagless vacuum cleaners are building on the success of the original BX3 series. Their high-velocity power (the engines range from 2,100W to 2,400W) comes from twin air vortices which produce an ultrapowerful air flow, ensuring a super efficient dust collection from such a small unit. They also feature a simpler emptying system and a sleek new look.
Within the bagged BSG7 series, featuring the new Airsafe system, which eliminates air leaks, ensuring maximum suction and power, the top of the range is a BSG7 Pro- Hygienic. It not only incorporates a HEPA filter, but also a new floor tool – the Parquet & Wet head – which allows the users to vacuum and wet-wipe hard floors at the same time.
Bosch has also introduced two new irons this season: Sensixx Protect which includes an anti-shine sole plate cover, to protect dark and delicate fabrics during ironing, and Sensixx B5 – the first iron with automatic temperature control, offering complete peace of mind when working on any type of fabric.
At the same time Siemens brought out two new coffee makers which provide for the needs of drinkers at opposite ends of the spectrum. While the entry level TK30 Essenza model is designed to be used with Espresso and Lungo capsules and produces just espresso coffee, the Porsche Design system incorporates a variety of features and gives the user a wide choice of drinks (capsulebased), including lattes and cappuccinos which are produced with the aid of a fully automated milk frothing mechanism.
