The Bosch iTemp range of irons and steam generators have been Good Housekeeping Approved after testing by its panel of expert testers.
Each product was evaluated on performance, design, ease of use and clarity of instructions. All of Bosch’s iTemp irons and steam generators passed and will now bear the Good Housekeeping Approved logo on the packaging.
Other Bosch products already approved by Good Housekeeping Institute include the SensorBagless cylinder vacuum BGS5ECOGB, Power Animal cylinder vacuum BGS5PETGB and Power Silence bagless cylinder BGS5SILBG.
Established in 1924, the Good Housekeeping Institute brings consumers unbiased, expert advice on everything from household products to food and finance. For the Good Housekeeping Approved accreditation scheme, the Institute evaluates products in four areas – performance, design, ease of use and quality of instructions – and each product tested at the GHI undergoes rigorous testing in a controlled environment.
Good Housekeeping Institute senior researcher Carrie-Ann Skinner said: “The Bosch range of iTemp steam irons and steam generators are good at removing creases across all types of fabrics on both the dot settings and the iTemp settings, which means you don’t need to adjust the temperature. Easy to use, the irons also come with a handy safety cut-out feature.”
Bosch general marketing manager Rosalinda Pisani said: “Recognition by the Good Housekeeping Institute proves that these values are still very much alive within the business today – improving quality of life for the end consumer is the driving force behind all Bosch products.”
