Bertazzoni, exclusively supplied by premium kitchen appliance specialists Britannia Living in the UK, has announced the addition of a hybrid range cooker to its Professional Series of appliances.
The newly designed 90cm range cooker offers consumers a truly unique proposition, Bertazzoni claims; allowing users to operate the single oven using either gas or electric, in effect providing two ovens in one.
Britannia Living marketing manager Michael Haigh explained: “This range cooker really is the complete package, offering a wealth of professional features and ultimate flexibility for the user.
“In gas mode, the oven is ideal for fish and roasting meat. Reaching a high temperature in a short time helps to seal the food and keep it juicy inside, while making the outside crispy.
“In electric mode, the oven is ideal for mid to low-temperature cooking such as baking or recipes that require slow cooking such as casseroles. Electric allows a very precise control of temperature and even heat distribution, assisted by the fan.”
The new model boasts six gas brass burners and a 124l dual energy oven and is available in Bertazzoni’s ‘Colours of Italy’ including yellow, orange and red.
