Bertazzoni adds new hand-finished colourways to striking built-in ovens

In Industry News On

Premium kitchen appliance specialist, Bertazzoni, has released a number of new finishes for its Modern Series built-in ovens – copper, zinc and carbonio.

Additions to the existing stainless steel option, the new metal finishes, copper and zinc, unique to the Modern Series, use real metal to create a striking and durable surface applied by hand by skilled craftsmen.

Creating an opulent finish that brings a subtle and refined finishing touch to any contemporary kitchen, the process is painstaking and time-consuming, requiring deep expertise and fine attention to detail.

As every aspect of the process is made by hand using traditional methods, no two ovens are the same. As unique and individual as pieces of fine art, they beautifully display the unique skill of their talented makers.

The carbonio finish is the result of a collaboration with infamous sports car manufacturers based nearby to Bertazzoni in Northern Italy. Both breath-taking and resilient, this extra dark, perfectly matt black surface instantly evokes a world of high performance and cutting-edge technology.

Highly-skilled craftspeople apply multiple layers of the colour by hand and the result is hard-wearing surface resistant to acids and temperature corrosion. Not only is it beautiful, it is durable, stain and fade resistant. And thanks to its anti-finger print technology, carbonio-finished products will always look as good as new

Bertazzoni’s Modern Series tells a very Italian story of design and style. The collection combines glass and precious metals crafted using 138 years of knowledge and passion that has made the brand’s approach an art, as well as a science.

Offering a rich and sophisticated style that is both current and timeless, the clean lines of Modern Series appliances are maintained through touch controls on the most advanced models, revealing an unparalleled vision for seamless integration.

The oven has already received international recognition, scooping an Archiproducts Design Award in November 2019, following its launch in other markets and features a best-in-class capacity of 76 litres.

Maurizio Severgnini, managing director at Bertazzoni UK & Ireland, said: “As a brand synonymous with design excellence across the globe, we need to lead the way with aesthetics and sophisticated finishes and remain committed to our dedication to creating stylish, quality and functional appliances.

“With Bertazzoni appliances, the finest details are considered and our designers have excelled themselves by elevating essential design to the highest levels through the power of rich materiality.”

Ovens available in Bertazzoni’s new copper, zinc and carbonio finishes include total steam, steam assist, pyrolytic and Bertazzoni Assistant models, products with LED touch-display and/or knob control and a selectin of microwaves.
