Beko plc has announced the appointment of its new marketing director, Donald Shepherd.
Donald joins the company to lead the marketing team across all five Beko plc brands; Beko, Grundig, Leisure, Blomberg and Flavel. With a strong background in marketing, Donald brings with him 14 years of agency experience working across a broad range of sectors and territories across brands including Hilton Worldwide, Solarlux, Lumesse, LivingWell Health Clubs and Guerlain Spa.
Beko plc managing director Teresa Arbuckle commented: “It really is an ideal time for Donald to join us and the home appliance industry. This year we’re celebrating Beko’s 25th anniversary in the UK, have recently launched our new television advertising campaign ‘Life Changes’ and also just announced our first brand ambassador for Leisure range cookers, Dan Doherty. Our marketing activity for the second half of the year is now well underway, and Donald will be key in ensuring that we continue to engage both consumers and our retail partners in 2016 and beyond.
