Home appliance brand Beko has announced the launch of its first collection of small domestic appliances (SDA).
Officially unveiled to an international audience at IFA last September, Beko SDA is now available to UK retailers via SDA distributor EPE.
Beko has made the move into the new category to offer families a complete collection of appliances for the kitchen, the brand explains. The new range includes; breakfast sets, a bean to cup coffee machine, filter coffee machines, hand blenders, microwaves, and steam irons and will be followed by vacuum cleaners in late Spring. The range will be available to view during Spring Fair at the NEC Birmingham, from February 4 to 9.
Beko brand manager Shalika Hooda commented: “Our credentials and expertise in MDA ensures we’re in the perfect position to expand into a new category. We’re committed to bringing first-class technology to everyday families, and we’re now able to do that through even more channels. There will be a full launch campaign to engage both retailers and consumers with the new products. Retailers will receive fresh training from our award-winning team, as well as marketing materials and POS for in-store use, whilst a consumer PR campaign will drive customers in-store.”
EPE managing director Noel Pamment said: “I am delighted to enhance our portfolio with the addition of the Beko SDA brand.
“Beko is the second largest brand in Europe in the white goods sector and has been the fastest-growing brand in the overall European market in the last seven years. With its leading position, Beko is one of the most important players in the UK’s home appliances market and I am pleased that this strong brand has chosen EPE to be its exclusive distributor for the Beko SDA range.”
