Home appliance manufacturer Beko has announced its latest sports sponsorship – Beko Team Turx. The first team to represent Turkey at the Extreme Sailing Series last September is now joining the 2015 series starting in Singapore this month, the manufacturer says.
Beko describes itself as a longstanding supporter of sports globally and Arçelik A.Ş. assistant general manager for marketing in Turkey Tülin Karabük said: “While our global brand Beko continues to grow steadily in international markets, it also supports social development via sport and continues with new investments and sponsorships in different branches of sport.
“It’s a huge success and major source of pride that our Turkish sailing team participates in this race in the global arena. We’re so pleased to support Team Turx with our global brand, Beko, as it’s a team in which both Turkish and foreign sailing sportsmen will compete together.”
