Philip Fletcher has been appointed as national sales manager to drive the new SDA division at Beko Plc, the company has revealed. The range will launch in the UK from March onwards, and will complement the brand’s MDA business.
Previously channel manager at Electrolux, Philip (pictured) has, over the past four years, managed a customer portfolio including Amazon, ASDA, Argos, Tesco, Wilko and Curry’s PC World. Philip will be working with distributor EPE to ensure independent retailers have access to the brand’s new products, Beko adds, which include a bean to cup coffee machine, range of steam irons, breakfast sets, blenders and floorcare.
Beko marketing director Donald Shepherd commented: “This is an exciting time for us, and we’re delighted to have Philip on board. His strong background in sales and knowledge of the industry makes him a natural choice for the role. We’re confident he will be a driving force in making this area of the business a success.”

SDA is a crowded market, but there is a real need for affordable, reliable products that make family life easier. Beko has identified a niche and it’s going to be a very exciting year for us.”
