Beko aiming to clean up with new dishwasher range

Beko has unveiled a new dishwasher range, available to retailers now. Beko says that the collection is ‘a reflection of the brand’s commitment to developing intuitive and energy efficient appliances that help make everyday life that little bit easier for families’.

The new dishwasher line-up offers users advanced technologies, an increased number of energy efficient EcoSmart models and improved washing performances, Beko says. Technical innovations across the brand’s new dishwasher range include: an additional spray arm and high water pressure at the bottom of the dishwasher, Steam Gloss technology to provide more effective drying and a sprinkler system that cleans the filter after every cycle.

Leading the new range is the EcoSmart Dishwasher with EverClean Filter (DFN28321), first previewed at the Beko 25+ anniversary event in March. As well as featuring Beko’s sprinkler system technology, it includes a Fast+ Function which helps to reduce cycle durations by up to 70. Also being introduced to market is the EcoSmart Six Litre Dishwasher with AquaIntense (DFN28320), which uses six litres of water to wash an entire 13 place setting load.

Beko has also announced a new promotion with Finish to further entice shoppers. Running from September 10 until October 31, consumers can enjoy a three month supply of dishwasher tablets free with their Beko dishwasher. Valid on 24 different models across the range including built-in, freestanding and slimline, the promotion helps retailers to add value, and will be supported with in-store POS and displays, Beko says.

Beko home laundry product manager Laura Selten commented: “The dishwasher market is currently worth £136.8m and Beko has experienced a 1.4% growth in the category year on year. Over 40% of the households in the UK now own a dishwasher and this number is steadily increasing as consumers’ lives get busier. We are introducing our new range to further drive and increase sales for our retail partners.

“We want to ensure retailers are maximising our offering with bespoke POS that communicates the benefits and features of our new dishwashers. Through training programmes staff can also benefit from the award-winning Beko plc training team.”

Available to all national accounts now, the range is available with an RRP ranging from £219 to £349.
