Hoover Ltd has announced the acquisition of Baumatic UK. Baumatic will be joining a portfolio of brands which are currently marketed by Hoover, including Candy and Rosières.
A spokesperson from Hoover comments: “We are delighted to have acquired such a strong brand and look forward to supporting its future development. Baumatic will be a fantastic addition to our current portfolio and this acquisition supports our long-term goal of further strengthening our presence in the UK appliance market.
“We are looking forward to further developing the Baumatic brand. “We feel the range of Baumatic products further enhances our own portfolio with its comprehensive range which includes built-in appliances, wine coolers, range cookers and free standing cookers. This will allow us to provide even more choice for our retailers and the consumer.”
