LA-based audio brand Ausounds has teased the upcoming launch of the long-anticipated audio sunglasses, AU-Lens. The revolutionary wearables are due to be released later this summer after being previewed at CES in early 2021.
Following the success of the company’s AU-Collection range of earphones, featuring the AU-Stream, AU-Stream Hybrid, AU-Stream ANC, and AU-Frequency, the AU-Lens is a unique accessory mixing state-of-the-art audio and high-fashion with functionality.
Priced at £149.95, and available in two classic acrylic finishes, black or tortoiseshell, the high-tech glasses have been given a retro twist shaped in a vintage 1950s Wayfarer frame.
To support the launch, Ausounds has teamed up with top recording artist Sara Phillips to promote AU-Lens.
Phillips, a Montreal born, LA-based singer-songwriter, has featured on the number one spot of Spotify’s editorial playlist, ‘Life Sucks’, with her recent song ‘Six Feet Under’, which has surpassed one million streams on the music platform.
The soon-to-be-launched wireless audio sunglasses incorporate the company’s award-winning technology, with 15mm drivers inside the sunglass’s stems, and Bluetooth compatibility for making phone calls.
Built-in AI voice assistance and noise reduction offer handsfree calls, while easy Bluetooth connection makes for seamless connectivity pairing with other devices. Fast charge capabilities and five hours of continuous music playback make the AU-Lens ideal for everyday use, walking, hiking or even dynamic outdoor workouts.
The multi-functional glasses also come equipped with Polaroid Polarised lens’ that can easily be replaced with prescription lenses.
