2009 isn’t going to be easy, but I am confident that the enormous investment Alphason has made during the past 12 months puts us in an excellent position to face the difficult times ahead and be able to provide even more support to our loyal customer base.
Recent investments have included moving to 100,000 sq ft new premises with state of the art warehousing and manufacturing facilities to further improve our service and support.
New ‘leading edge’ machinery at Wigan will ensure that we are able to manufacture short runs of products to react quickly and positively to new trends thereby giving our customers a competitive advantage.
During 2009 we plan to expand the training courses we started last year, as we believe these are going to prove even more beneficial in the months to come. Ensuring your retail staff have the skills, together with the knowledge and confidence to put those skills into practice, so you can maximise the sales from every customer, is absolutely essential in today’s retail climate.
We will also continue to market ‘attachment’ selling under the banner of our recently launched Viewsmart initiative.
In a difficult market, Viewsmart creates an easy to understand and simple to sell accessories range which in turn makes it easy for your customers to buy a very profitable accessory with every sale. At Alphason we understand providing a competitive and quality range of accessories is only part of the solution, Viewsmart goes that much further by making it simple, clear and a ‘must’ purchase for all your customers, whether it is adding a stand, cables, power protection or screen cleaning products.
In short, our customers can continue to depend on us. For service, for support and for an even greater selection of stylish and innovative products.
And there will be other exciting new initiatives to help our retailers keep out in front.
