Trade distributor of signal reception and distribution, custom install, home automation and security products Alltrade has announced the date and venue for its popular annual Trade Show. After a decade of events, this year’s free-to-attend Trade Show for all Aerial & Satellite, CI, Smart Home and Electrical professionals returns to Surrey’s Epsom Downs Racecourse on Wednesday September 19 2018.

Sponsored by Triax and supported by Antiference, Global Invacom and Blustream, the show features a raft of big-name CI brands including HDL, DrayTek, Blustream, Ubiquiti and Sonos. IRS professionals can see a range of new products and technologies from the likes of Triax, Global Invacom, Antiference and Televes.

In addition to the regular mix of stalwart exhibitors, networking and key brands, this year’s event will expand on growth areas of the CI sector such as CCTV and security, Fibre IRS and managed IP networking for residential and commercial applications. Key Alltrade suppliers including Hikvision, MaxxOne, DrayTek, Triax and Global Invacom will be on hand to assist installers transitioning into these exciting business areas.

Alltrade managing director Steve Simper commented: “With the increasing number of opportunities for installers across the CI, AV, IRS and CCTV sectors, the diversity and breadth of our Trade Show exhibitors continues to expand. In a single day event, professionals can discuss the latest products from top brands in these key sectors, get advice on the opportunities for their business and attend keynote seminars from the biggest organisations shaping the industry.

“As ever, we warmly welcome both new and existing customers to the Alltrade Trade Show. We offer everyone exclusive deals and discounts on the day, optional seminars and free refreshments and lunch for all attendees.”

This year’s event features an expanded free seminar programme. Keynote speakers include DTG chief executive Richard Lindsay-Davies, Arqiva director of technical solutions Tony Mattera and CAI senior executive Peter Sealey.

Richard Lindsay-Davies will be delivering an overview of the growth, technology and trends in the new wave of TV ‘air’ platforms. How will the move away from the traditional broadcast TV model influence your business into the future? Richard will explore the transformative changes impacting the broadcasting world today and envisaging how TV is set to evolve over the next 10 to 20 years.

Tony Mattera will be delivering an overview and update on the continuing 700MHz Clearance programme for the UK’s terrestrial TV network. Due to be completed by April 2020 the project is well underway, presenting a host of challenges as well as opportunities for TV signal and IRS professionals.

Robust Wi-Fi and its necessity for every household will also be explored. Armed with the knowledge of what is likely to be needed to expand your business, installers can subsequently peruse the various exhibitors looking into adding variety to their portfolios. Newly appointed senior executive at the CAI, Peter Sealey will round out the day’s seminar programme.

With its south-central location and free parking, Epsom Downs racecourse has proven a popular venue for installers serving London and the Home Counties as well as further afield. Mixing a compact exhibition area with a growing number of brands in attendance, training seminars and networking opportunities, the Alltrade Trade Show continues to go from strength to strength.

Attending the Alltrade Trade Show remains completely free to industry professionals from all sectors of the Aerial & Satellite, CI, AV, and Electrical business.
