AEG has announced that it will once again be the headline sponsor of ‘Jamie Oliver and Alex James present The Big Feastival’. Set on Alex James’ Cotswold Farm, the food and music lovers’ festival is back with a line-up of chefs and music and a programme of entertainment for all the family.
The weekend event runs from August 28 to 30 and will showcase music from chart-topping acts such as Dizzie Rascal, Ella Eyre and Paloma Faith, as well as an array of children’s entertainment and food stands. AEG will be present throughout the festival offering a variety of features that will focus on food and cooking, with a particular emphasis on steam, induction and healthy, flavoursome food.
AEG Let’s Taste Live Cooking, in partnership with Daylesford Cookery School, offers visitors the unique opportunity to pick up hints, tips and techniques from Daylesford’s chef Steve Brown. Participants can learn how to #TakeTasteFurther by taking part in a hands-on cookery session with seasonal produce on AEG appliances. This will allow guests to see for themselves the benefits of combination steam and induction cooking whilst also learning techniques that enhance the taste experience.
The AEG Family Kitchen, in partnership with Gluts & Gluttony, will take place in the AEG mobile academy, which is equipped with the latest AEG combination steam and induction appliances. Here mums, dads and their kids can enjoy ‘cookery lessons with a difference’, around the theme of taking taste further.
The AEG Big Kitchen will be showcasing the talents of some of the UK’s best chefs including: Jamie Oliver, Raymond Blanc, Monica Galetti, Nathan Outlaw, Gizzie Irskine, Ashley Palmer-Watts, Anna Jones, Deliciously Ella and many more, using AEG combination steam and induction appliances on the main stage during cooking demonstrations.
AEG consumer marketing manager Hannah Groves commented: “We are delighted to be involved in such an exciting event. The Big Feastival gives us the perfect opportunity to showcase AEG’s cutting edge cooking technology, in particular combination steam cooking and induction. Through demonstrations as well as practical and taste experiences we aim to open up the world of possibilities in combination steam and induction cooking, allowing keen cooks to take their culinary skills to the next level and achieve outstanding results.”
