AEG has been awarded the international seal of peaceful approval by Quiet Mark.
Incepted by the recognised UK Noise Abatement Society, Quiet Mark encourages noise reduction amongst everyday and household products. AEG says it understands the importance of noise reduction to consumers and has achieved the Quiet Mark approval across 30 products spanning dishcare, laundry and cooling.
In laundry, AEG has proven that its appliances are worthy of the Quiet Mark approval thanks to its Silent System PLUS technology. With Silent System PLUS the machines have insulation layers that make the appliance operation exceptionally quiet, the manufacturer says. AEG has also developed noise reduction technology within the kitchen. Now that more consumers are living, eating and entertaining in this social kitchen, noise level is a very important consideration, AEG adds.
Quiet Mark founder and managing director Poppy Szkiler said: “AEG are leaders in quiet household products and their advanced noise reduction technology has helped them achieve Quiet Mark approval across 30 different appliances. We are delighted that they are joining us in our mission to remove excessive noise from everyday life.”
