Designed and tested by British engineers who were commissioned by Morphy Richards to build a perfect iron for ironing shirts, the Advanced Finish harnesses the power of a steam generator and puts it in the body of an iron.
The iron has an intelligent triple action soleplate which is divided into three areas with different functions. Turbo boost tip is linked to a separate steam chamber which produces high velocity steam that penetrates deep into the fabric. It can be used when the iron is in the horizontal or vertical position. The central chamber produces a gentle constant steam flow at a controllable rate, while the Press and Set flat surface is designed to finish the garment by removing the moisture and setting the fabric in a crease-free state.
At the same time Morphy Richards had its first foray into an eco friendly floorcare range with three upright models from the PerformAir range. This eco-friendly collection was designed to deliver excellent performance from a more environmentally friendly 1000W motor. The manufacturer says that the range saves energy and money with an equal performance to competitors’ 2000W equivalents.
