The new 90cm induction hob from Fisher & Paykel has five cooking zones with nine heat settings each. The advanced function of Power Boost uses more than 100% of the power to an element ensuring an intense and quick boost of heat. For casseroles or soups, for example, Auto Heat Reduce will quickly bring food to boil and then automatically reduce to a simmer. Gentle Heat provides a continuous low heat, ideal for delicate sauces or to warm up plates or food.
Should a spillage occur on the control panel, the hob will automatically switch off. Hot surface indicators will be lit until the surface is safe to touch again.
