Samsung’s new Air Refresh washing machine can be used for freshening up dry clean-only laundry.
In the four-stage process, air is drawn into the washer, heated and then injected over the clothes, expelling microbes and other odour-causing particles.
The machine incorporates a double ceramic coating to its heater, making it less porous than conventional heaters. As a result, wash times and energy consumption are reduced and the durability of the machine is increased, says Samsung.
Additional benefits include bespoke fabric programmes, Wool Mark certification and a 480mm-wide door.
